Announcing the release of I Love Your Soup, the third recording from the blues/folk-based improvisational powerhouse Paul Mayasich with Benderheads. In addition to Paul Mayasich's masterful slide and finger style guitar work (along with his signature soulful vocals), I Love Your Soup is rounded off by long-time collaborators John Wright (bass) and Jeff Rogers (drums) with Scott Sansby on percussion. Recorded live in the studio with only a few vocal overdubs, I Love Your Soup features eight new Mayasich compositions along with a moving version of "Amazing Grace" (played on slide) and a blistering take on Muddy Waters' "I Can't Be Satisfied." This is a fitting third chapter in the Benderheads' improvisational/blues folk exploration.

Announcing the release of Where You Been?, the debut solo recording from Minneapolis-based blues and roots guitar master Paul Mayasich. Originally independently issued in 2002, this recording features eight original compositions and a burning cover of Hound Dog Taylor's "Sadie." The songs on Where You Been? display Paul's impressive and powerful chops both as a finger style and slide guitar virtuoso, while also demonstrating his great skill as a singer and songwriter as well. Backed by a core group of Minneapolis-music-scene veterans including Jeff Rogers (drums), John Wright (bass), and Scottie Miller (keys), Where You Been? is an impressive first outing, with more to follow.
