Tom is a singer, songwriter and poet from Dublin. He now lives in The Netherlands and has performed through-out Europe for over 20 years. The Cd contains 14 original contemporary and traditional style songs recorded with the help of nine extraordinary musicians. Writing songs for the album, Tom was drawn into the deep and rich cultural heritage of Ireland, finding inspiration in its writers and musicians--from the 18th century playwright and poet Richard Brinsley Sheridan to the traveling piper Johnny Doran and beyond--with a respectful ear to the past.
